This 3 hour informal workshop will introduce you to the traditional craft of hand building pottery.
Under the guidance of experienced potter Denise, you'll learn how to design, build and decorate your own personalised Christmas themed lantern using techniques used for the last 7,000 years. You'll use stenciling, clay slip and carving techniques to create your own unique ceramic piece in time for Christmas.
No previous experience is necessary. Not suitable for children. Over 16 yrs only.
Location : Merville House, Merville Garden Village, Newtownabbey, BT37 9TH.

- Tuesday 5th November 2024 : 6pm to 9pm
- Tuesday 12th November 2024 : 6pm to 9pm
Cost £45 includes refreshments, materials, bisque and stoneware firing.
Places limited to 8 participants.
